Jacksonville FL — Check back for updates for the latest reopenings in the Northeast Florida area:

Duval County:

-Duval County’s Local State of Emergency will end Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 AM.

-Friday’s curbside garbage, recycling, bulk, and yard waste collections will occur as normal.

-The make-up day for Thursday’s Curbside garbage, recycling, bulk, and yard waste collections will be Saturday, Nov. 12.

-JTA has resumed normal Friday operations and the St. Johns River Ferry will resume operations Friday, Nov. 11 at 12 PM.

-The following Shelters will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 by 5 PM: The Legends Center and Landmark Middle School.

-The Jacksonville Fair is reopening at 3 PM Friday.

-Hanna Park has reopened.

-WM (Formerly Waste Management) will resume collection services on Friday, November 11. Thursday customers in Jacksonville will be serviced on Saturday, and Friday customers will be serviced as normal. For Jacksonville Beach customers, Thursday garbage and yard waste customers will receive service on their next regularly scheduled collection day. Thursday recycling customers will be serviced on Friday, and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

-The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens will reopen to the public tomorrow, Saturday, November 12, 2022 with normal operating hours.

-Duval Public Schools and district offices will reopen as normal on Monday, Nov. 14.

St. Johns County:

-The Historic Downtown Parking Facility in St. Augustine will resume regular operations and collect fees for parking on Friday, November 11, starting at 12:00pm. Residents who parked their personal vehicles there should plan to retrieve them as soon as possible following Friday morning’s high tide. There is no charge upon exiting the garage when your vehicle is being retrieved.

-The Visitor Information Center will reopen for normal operations at 1:00pm on Friday, November 11.

-St. Johns County is resuming household garbage, recycling, and yard debris collection schedules on Friday, Nov. 11. Residents originally scheduled for Thursday collection will have service on Saturday, Nov. 12.

-WM (Formerly Waste Management) will resume service in St. Johns County on Friday, November 11. Thursday customers will be serviced on Saturday and Friday customers will be serviced as normal.

-The St. Johns County Public Library System branches and book drops will reopen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, resuming normal business hours. Fees for notary, printing, copying, and faxing services will be waived for storm-related business.

-Effective immediately on Friday, Nov. 11, voluntary evacuation orders for all zones enacted in St. Johns County in response to Tropical Storm Nicole have been lifted. Residents are encouraged to drive with caution as isolated areas may still have standing water causing them to be impassable and may be restricted by emergency services.

-Emergency Management officials say A1A has now reopened after emergency repairs were completed by FDOT. Please drive with caution, especially near the areas of Guana River Road and Carcaba Road.

-The St. Johns County Ocean and Fishing Pier facilities including the parking lot, pavilion, volleyball courts, and the pier gift shop will reopen Saturday, Nov. 12. The gift shop will resume normal business hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

-The fishing pier, both beach access locations, and the splash park will remain closed until further notice.

Clay County:

-WM (Formerly Waste Management) will resume service in Clay County on Friday, November 11. Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

-Trash pickup was delayed Thursday, and crews are picking up those routes Friday.

-If you have yard waste, Clay County will be picking it up Friday and Saturday, and the county has a plan for claw trucks to pick up any remaining yard waste next week. You can also take your yard waste to Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility from November 11, through November 21 for free.

-If you have damages to your house or another structure, or flooding in your home, please call the call center at 877-252-9362 to report it. If you have photos, please email them, your name, and the address to Socialmedia@claycountygov.com.

-Clay County District Schools will reopen on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Nassau County:

-WM (Formerly Waste Management) will resume service in Nassau County on Friday, November 11. Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

-Preliminary damage and debris assessments by Nassau County’s emergency responders indicate minor impacts to the area caused by wind. Therefore, the County will not be activating supplemental debris removal contracts. Residents are advised to separate their household and yard debris and dispose of it through normal channels.

-Excess yard waste should be cut and bagged according to your waste-hauler/provider guidelines. Please contact your garbage company directly with questions.

-Yard waste and construction/demolition debris can be taken to Sandhill Recycling Center located at 153326 County Road 108 in Yulee. Please call (904) 225-2801 for hours of service and rates for disposal.

Baker County:

-WM (Formerly Waste Management) will resume service in Baker County on Friday, November 11. Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.
