2 killed in St. Johns County A1A crash

The Florida Highway Patrol says 2 people are dead after an early morning 3-vehicle crash in St. Johns County.

The victims are identified as two 29-year-old men from Jacksonville, but their names were not released.

FHP says at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, they were in a car on A1A, north of Guana River Road, when the driver crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck and SUV.

The driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries, and the pickup driver had minor injuries

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
