๐ŸŽถ Nirvana Wins Child Pornography Lawsuit Over Iconic โ€œNevermindโ€ Baby Cover

Talk about a stretch! ๐Ÿ™„ The man who was photographed as the naked baby on Nirvanaโ€™s 1991 Nevermind cover just lost his lawsuit against the band.

Spencer Elden โ€” now in his 30s โ€” has been trying to argue that the photo counted as child pornography and that his parents didnโ€™t consent to it being used. But a federal judge just tossed the case, saying โ€œneither the pose, focal point, setting, nor overall context suggest the album cover features sexually explicit conduct.โ€ ๐ŸŽค Case closed.

And hereโ€™s the kicker: the judge also pointed out that Elden has spent years cashing in on being โ€œthe Nirvana babyโ€ โ€” signing autographs, recreating the photo for fun, and bragging about it. Soooo suing over it decades later feels like a major reach. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Letโ€™s be real โ€” that album cover is one of the most iconic in music history. Instead of dragging Nirvana to court, maybe Elden should be proud heโ€™s literally a part of pop culture forever. ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The case may not be totally over yet (his lawyers can appeal), but for now Nirvana walks away with the win.

The โ€œNevermindโ€ cover remains one of the most iconic album images in rock history โ€” and now, legally, it stays that way. ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ’ฟ
