Mesa Police Department said Troy Kotsur reported that his Jeep was taken when he was in Mesa, Arizona, visiting his hometown, NBC News reported.

Kotsur had left his Oscar in the vehicle when it was taken Saturday. The vehicle and award were both recovered later that night when police found “two juvenile male suspects inside” the jeep.

The suspects, whose names were not released due to their young age, admitted to taking the Jeep.

They’ve been charged with theft of means of transportation.

The Jeep and the Oscar — along with everything else inside of the vehicle — were returned to Kotsur, NBC News reported.

Kotsur won the best supporting actor Oscar for his role in “CODA” this past March, Entertainment Weekly reported.

He holds the honor of being the first male actor who is deaf to win.

The first person who is deaf to win an Oscar went to Kotsur’s “CODA” costar Marlee Matlin in 1987 for her role in “Children of a Lesser God,” according to Entertainment Weekly and Deadline.

Kotsur is only the second deaf person to win an Oscar.
