Buffalo Bills defensive end Von Miller underwent surgery. It was exploratory, and he got an ACL repair. He will be out for the season, head coach Sean McDermott said.
Miller suffered a knee injury in Week 12 against the Detroit Lions and had to be carted off the field. He said on his podcast that he hoped to return by Week 14. The Bills placed him on injured reserve to leave the door open for his return, now Miller won't come back at all.
Von Miller had said he hoped to be back after missing just one game. The team put him on IR to ease him back. Then, exploratory surgery yesterday revealed the ACL was, in fact, torn. Now, out for the season. A crushing loss. https://t.co/GPGpVmkZ5H
